Available Positions and Requirements
The Directorate of Educational Research and Training, Meghalaya, is looking to fill the following three positions:
1. Graphic Designer
- Number of Posts: 1
- Remuneration: ₹35,000/- per month
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Animation, Applied Arts, or a related field (4 years degree).
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or a related diploma in Graphics, Animations, Computer Applications, Media Production, and Management from any recognized institution.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of working experience in graphic design or related areas.
- Proficiency in creating artistic representations through illustrations, 2D/3D animation, and VFX.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in developing teaching-learning materials and disseminating media or IT content for children and education.
- Knowledge of software such as Blender, Autodesk Maya, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Animate.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in graphic design and experience in media production. The candidate should be creative and have the technical skills required to produce high-quality visuals and animations.
2. Video Editor
- Number of Posts: 1
- Remuneration: ₹28,000/- per month
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate or Post Graduate in Media Production and Management or Mass Communication from any recognized institution.
Experience:
- 3-4 years of experience in professional video production and editing.
- Proven experience in video production, with samples of uploaded videos for review.
Preferred Skills:
- Expertise in video production related to educational and developmental issues.
- Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or similar software.
- Experience in converting different video formats for download and online streaming.
- Experience covering sensitive subjects and working in challenging environments.
This role is suited for someone who has hands-on experience in video editing and is proficient in using advanced video editing tools. The candidate should be able to produce, edit, and manage video content that aligns with educational goals.
3. Academic Coordinator
- Number of Posts: 1
- Remuneration: ₹25,000/- per month
Essential Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in relevant subjects from a recognized University or Institute with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience working as an academic expert in a relevant subject.
- Experience in eContent development, online course development and management, conducting trainings, or teaching at the level of teacher education.
- Experience in educational research, data handling, and report writing.
Preferred Skills:
- Candidates with an M.Ed. degree.
- Good communication skills in both English and Hindi.
- Proficiency in ICT skills.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong academic background and experience in educational research or training. The candidate should have the ability to manage academic projects and contribute to the development of educational content.
