1. Stenographer Grade-I – Meghalaya Civil Secretariat
- Pay Level: Level 16 (Revised Pay Structure)
- Education: Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university
- Experience: Must have served as Steno Grade II or III under Meghalaya State Government for at least 5 years
- Test: Must pass speed test in English Stenography at 150 wpm

Eligibility Criteria for Meghalaya PSC Recruitment 2025

Age Limit
- For Stenographer Grade-I:
No age limit for those already working as Steno Grade II or III under State Government. - For Stenographer Grade-III:
Must be 18 to 32 years as of 1st January 2025.
Relaxation:- SC/ST: 5 years
- PWD (Group C & D): 10 years (15 years for SC/ST)
- PWD (Group A & B through open exams): 10 years (15 years for SC/ST)
- PWD (Group A & B without open exam): 5 years (10 years for SC/ST)
- No age bar for regular state government employees who entered service within age limits.
Educational Certificates
Only these documents are accepted:
- Matriculation Certificate
- Secondary School Leaving Certificate
- University Certificate (if equivalent to Matriculation)
Documents not accepted: Horoscope, Affidavits, Birth extracts from Municipality, etc.
