Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold an MD, MS, DNB, DM, M.Ch, or an equivalent qualification in the relevant subject from an MCI/NMC-approved institution.
- Have permanent registration with the Meghalaya State Medical Council.
- Completed Senior Residency in the concerned subject after post-graduation.
- Must be an in-service Medical Officer or Specialist in the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Meghalaya.
Salary And Benefits
Selected candidates will continue to receive their existing pay. They will also get a teaching allowance as per the Health and Family Welfare Department’s rules.
Tenure And Promotion
The appointment is for five years. Promotion to Associate Professor is possible based on performance and eligibility criteria set by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
