About Director of Commerce & Industries Meghalaya Internship
The Government of Meghalaya has started this internship under the TIOS Scheme. The main aim is to help youth learn skills, get job chances, and also support self-work ideas.
This program gives training both inside and outside the state. So, students can learn from good institutes and also from real work places.
Also, this step is taken to help young people become job-ready and confident in their future.
Training Components
There are two main types of training in this program.
1. Individual Training
- Duration: 90 days (3 months)
- Mode: Training in companies or institutes
- Location: Inside or outside Meghalaya
This is best for students who want personal learning and real work exposure.

2. Batch-Based Training
- Duration: 30 days (1 month)
- Batch Size: 25 trainees
- Mode: Training mostly inside the state
This is good for group learning and short-term skill building.
Eligible Institutions
The following institutes can apply for this program:
- UDYAM registered MSMEs with training setup
- Private training institutes and skill providers
- Government approved institutes
- Private ITIs and training centres
- Colleges offering job-based courses
