  • Educational Qualifications: Matriculation/SSLC passed with a Certificate in Computer Application, minimum typing speed of 30 w.p.m (to be ascertained in the technical speed test).

3. Gram Sevak (Both Male & Female) and Gram Sevika (Only Female)

7. Forest Guard

  • Educational Qualifications: SSLC passed and above or equivalent examination from recognized boards. Candidates must meet physical standards: Age 18-30 years, Height: Male 163 cms, Female 150 cms, Chest: Male 79 cms (Normal) + 5 cms expanded, Female 74 cms (Normal) + 5 cms expanded. SC/ST candidates have a lower height requirement. Physical Test: 25 Kms walk for males and 16 Kms for females within 4 hours.

8. Grade IV

  • Number of Vacancies: 417
  • Categories: UR – 76, KJ/G – 333 (inclusive of 2 PWDs: 1 Deaf/hard of hearing, 1 Locomotor (OV OL), OST/SC – 8
  • Pay Level: Pay Level – 1 (As per Revised Pay Structure)
  • Educational Qualifications: Class VI passed. Age Limit: 18-32 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST). Specific age limits apply for posts under various departments as per the Office Memorandum No.PER.38/2021/91 dated Shillong, 1st May 2024.

Reservation of Vacancies

The reservation of vacancies follows the existing policies in Services/Posts under the State Government of Meghalaya. The District Selection Committee reserves the right to adjust the number of vacancies based on requirements.

Application Fees

  • General: Rs 100.00
  • ST/SC: Rs 50.00
  • PWDs: Exempted

Payment can be made through Debit Cum ATM card/Net banking, E-Challan, or UPI. For cash payments, select PAYMENT ACROSS BANK COUNTER, generate an e-challan, and make the payment at any SBI branch. Note that additional bank commission fees may apply depending on the payment mode.

Instructions to Candidates

  1. Registration: Candidates must register on the District Selection Committee website using a valid email ID for correspondence.
  2. Application Code: A unique application code will be generated for each post applied for, which must be used for all future correspondence and online payment.
  3. No Hard Copies: Only online applications will be accepted. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
  4. Payment Methods: Fees can be paid through Internet Banking, Card Payment, or Cash at SBI branches.
  5. Photo and Signature: Candidates must upload recent colored passport size photographs and signatures in JPG format (each file must be less than 50Kb).
  6. No Changes: No changes or corrections will be allowed in the application form once submitted.
  7. Impersonation: Any form of impersonation or irregular means will result in disqualification and potential criminal prosecution.
  8. Expenses: Candidates must bear their own expenses for the Written Test/Interview.
  9. Posting: Selected candidates must be willing to serve anywhere in Meghalaya.
  10. Canvassing: Any form of canvassing will disqualify the candidate.
