ICAR Umiam Eligibility Criteria 2026
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
- Essential Qualification: Post graduate degree in Agriculture (Agri. Extension / Agri. Economics / Agri. Statistics).
- Desirable Qualification: The institute will give preference to Ph.D. candidates.
Young Professional-II (YP-II)
- Essential Qualification: Post graduate degree in Agriculture (Plant Physiology / Crop Physiology / Plant Breeding / Plant Biochemistry) with a 04 (four) year UG degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, along with UGC-NET.
- Desirable Qualification: Work experience in field experimentation and laboratory work, including running stress physiological tools, techniques and instruments.
Age Limit
Candidates must be at least 21 years old and not more than 45 years old. The institute will give age relaxation as per rules.
