About Meghalaya B.Sc Nursing Admission 2026
The Government of Meghalaya has invited online applications for B.Sc Nursing State Quota Meghalaya admission for the Academic Session 2026–27. Only candidates who appeared in the State CEE 2026 can apply. Also, applicants must upload their State CEE 2026 score sheet because applications without the score sheet will not be accepted.
Applications started on 27 July 2026 at 10:00 AM and will close on 10 August 2026 at 5:00 PM. However, no application will be accepted after the closing date.
Eligibility Criteria for Meghalaya B.Sc Nursing Admission 2026
Candidates must meet all the following conditions:
- Must be a Bonafide Citizen of Meghalaya.
- Must have passed Class 12 (10+2).
- Must score at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology together.
- Must pass English as an individual subject.
- Students from State Open School recognized by the State Government and NIOS recognized by the Central Government with Science and English are also eligible.
- Must obtain the required percentile in the State CEE 2026.
- Minimum age should be 17 years on or before 31 December 2026.
- Colour blind candidates can also apply if they use colour corrective contact lenses or spectacles.
- Must be medically fit.
Selection Process
The selection process will follow the rules below:
- Candidates will be ranked according to their State CEE 2026 score.
- Reservation rules of the Government of Meghalaya will be followed.
- If two or more candidates score the same percentile, the tie will be decided in this order:
- Higher Biology percentile.
- After that, higher Chemistry percentile.
- After that, higher Physics percentile.
- After that, higher English percentile.
- Finally, the older candidate will receive a higher rank.
The counselling schedule, venue and shortlisted candidates will be published on the official website.
Final Selection Process
The final merit list will be prepared according to the State CEE score and category.

Seat allocation rules:
- Open Category seats will be allotted completely on merit.
- Khasi & Jaintia, Garo, SC and OST category seats will be allotted according to category rank.
- First-ranked candidates in every category will receive seats first.
- After that, second-ranked candidates will receive seats.
- This process will continue until all available seats are filled.
