Eligibility Criteria for Meghalaya Education Department Admission
Candidates should meet the required educational qualification before submitting the application.
For Engineering and Technology Diploma Courses
Candidates applying for the courses from Sl. No. 1 to Sl. No. 6 must meet the following conditions:
- Must be a permanent resident of Meghalaya.
- Must have passed SSLC, HSLC, or an equivalent examination.
- Mathematics and Science must be among the subjects studied.
- Must secure at least 45% marks for SC, ST, and OT category candidates.
- Must secure at least 55% marks for General category candidates.
For Pharmacy Diploma Course
Candidates applying for the Pharmacy course must meet these conditions:
- Must be a permanent resident of Meghalaya.
- Must have passed HSSLC or an equivalent examination.
- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics must be among the subjects studied.
- Must secure at least 45% marks for SC, ST, and OT category candidates.
- Must secure at least 55% marks for General category candidates.

Reservation Policy
