For Paper I (Primary Teachers):

  • Education: Passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
  • OR Passed Class 12th with at least 45% marks and a 2-year D.El.Ed as per NCTE rules.
  • OR Passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

For Paper II (Upper Primary Teachers):

  • Education: Graduation with at least 50% marks and a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
  • OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and a 1-year B.Ed as per NCTE rules.
  • OR Passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks and a 4-year B.El.Ed.
