- Sub-Divisional Officer/Assistant Engineer (Civil) in PHE Department – 10 posts
- Assistant Engineer (Civil) Gazetted A in Public Works (R&B) Department – 17 posts
- Assistant Engineer (Electrical) in PHE Department – 6 posts
These posts are for Group A category, which is a very good level in government jobs. All posts need B.E./B.Tech degrees from recognized universities.
Age Limit and Relaxation
Age is an important factor. Your age should be between 21 to 32 years as of 1st January 2025. But don’t worry if you belong to SC or ST. You will get a 5-year age relaxation.
Also, government employees who joined the job within the correct age limit have no age limit at all. For PWD candidates, the relaxation is even more – up to 10 or 15 years, depending on the group.
What is the Selection Process for MPSC Meghalaya 2025
The selection process is fair and clear. You need to go through these steps:
- Screening Test – Objective type questions (MCQ)
- Personal Interview – Only if you pass the test
Subjects for the test:
- General English – 50 marks
- General Knowledge – 50 marks
- Engineering Subject (Civil or Electrical) – 200 marks
So, the total marks are 300. You must prepare well. If you study daily, you will surely pass the exam.
