Name Of Post – Executive Trainee (Electrical/ Mechanical) (E-2) Grade

  • No of posts:- 16 [UR:11, SC:4, ST:1]
  • Upper age limit as on 01.05.2024:- UR: 30 years and SC/ST:35 years.
  • Salary:- Scale of Pay Rs. 50,000-3%-1,60,000/- (IDA)
  • Qualification: complete time A bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology, an AMIE, or a BSc. Engg. in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited school or university, with a minimum of 65% of the possible points according to the standards of the relevant school or university (or 55% for candidates who are SC/ST eligible). The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) must have been taken in 2024 by qualifying candidates.

  • Upper age limit as on 01.05.2024:- UR/ EWS: 30 years
  • Salary:- Scale of Pay Rs. 50,000-3%-1,60,000/- (IDA)
  • Qualification: A minimum of two years’ worth of full-time MBA or postgraduate diploma work in personnel and administration, industrial relations, human resource development, or human resource management (65% or equivalent grade from an accredited university or institute) is required of the graduate. To be eligible to apply, a candidate must have taken the UGC-NET in the following subjects: labor welfare, personnel management, labor & social welfare, or HRM in the December cycle of 2023. The candidate must also have received at least 40% in each of the two UGC-NET papers.

Placement after Selection

Selected candidates will be trained for one year at one or more of the Corporation’s sites.
Candidates may be placed anywhere in the country in any of the Corporation’s projects, stations, or offices. Candidates’ applications indicate their willingness to work anywhere in the country. They will be put in E-3 Grade after completing their program successfully.

Age Relaxations for Neepco Recruitment 2024

Upper age relaxation for SCs/STs/ESM/PwBDs would be given in accordance with Government of India rules. Candidates who were domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 shall be eligible for a relaxation in the higher age restriction based on Government of India norms.

Service Agreement Bond in NEEPCO

To secure the position, the selected candidate must sign a non-transferable Service Agreement and Surety Bond (NonJudicial Stamp Papers of the requisite value) with a surety of sufficient means. The amount must not exceed Rs 2,50,000/- (Rupees Two lakh fifty thousand only) for General/EWS candidates and Rs 1,25,000/- (Rupees One lakh twenty five thousand only) for SC/ST candidates.

Selection Process For NEEPCO Vacancy 2024

The selection procedure includes a review of online applications and an online personal interview for selected applicants, as determined by management.

Interview for NEEPCO 2024 Post

Candidates may choose to limit or increase the number of candidates that are shortlisted for personal interviews based on merit. Candidates will be shortlisted according to their performance in GATE (Mechanical or Electrical), CA, CMA (formerly ICWA), and UGC-NET (Labor Welfare/ Personnel Management / Labour & Social Welfare / HRM). A selection committee will conduct a personal interview with the chosen candidate after determining the final merit panel. The interview will be based on a weightage of 20% and 80% for the GATE (Electrical or Mechanical)/FINCA/CMA (previously ICWA)/UGC-NET (Labour Welfare/ Personnel Management / Labour & Social Welfare / HRM) examination scores.
Interview topics for the in-person meeting will include general knowledge, aptitude for the position, extracurricular activities, and professional-specific knowledge.
