Important Information for Candidates

  • Selection Criteria: Preference will be given to candidates with more experience and those holding additional diplomas or degrees in the related field.
  • Contract Duration: The engagement of faculty will be on a daily wage basis for a period of 59 days. The contract may be renewed after a requisite break as per Government rules. However, the appointment will be terminated either when a regular candidate is recommended by the District Selection Committee/Meghalaya Education Recruitment Board (MERB) or after 59 days, whichever is earlier.
  • Termination Clause: The institution reserves the right to cancel the appointment at any time without assigning any reason.
  • No TA/DA: No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for attending the interview.
