Educational Qualification

  • Matriculation/SSLC pass certificate.
  • A two-year certificate course in Handloom from the Handloom Training Institute (HTI), Mendipathar, North Garo Hills District, Meghalaya.

Age Limit

  • Minimum age: 18 years (as of 1st January 2024).
  • Maximum age: 32 years.
  • Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

For candidates with approval under the Cabinet’s decision dated 19th December 2023, overaged candidates with the required diploma can also apply. This relaxation applies only to this recruitment cycle.
